This demonstrates the form of illustration/layout I would term 'ephemeral', useful in maintaining interest in a heavily illustrated interactive book.
-
Atlantis book; scene-setters

When photgraphs were returned to me I 'intalled' the figures in scenes I created from many, many sources. Manipulated and 'lit' in Photoshop, this method proved successful.
-
Atlantis scene
This illustrates how the figures sit well in their artificially created environment.
-
Book of Bad Things
It was important to include (sometimes hide) elements critical to the complex story being told in this interactive adventure.
-
CS Lewis book.
Screwtape: A rather odd book written by CS Lewis which called for some unconventional treatment.
-
Diagramatical illustration
Not entirely a mainstay, but something I am happy to undertake.
