About

Working in the creative industry, centred upon but not exclusively graphic design I have developed a broad range of skills reinforced by real-world experience and genuine reliability. It is my intention to expand my reputation for creating immersive titles for adventurous publishers and delivering effective design solutions for small to medium businesses and start ups.

• An art director, designer and creative thinker with extensive experience in direct marketing, promotion, publishing, stationery and gifts, product design and advertising. I have a long-standing working relationship with a number of clients, mostly in marketing and publishing, and in addition have significant experience in branding and visualisation.

• Copywriting: I’m able to effectively write, edit and sub copy. I am regularly involved editorially in new product developments and have a proven track record in advertising/marketing copywriting.

• Resourceful and innovative, I can confidently take a wide range of creative challenges from brief to fulfilment, delivering work on-time and professionally. Clients have included BT, Rolls Royce, Yell, Disney, Pixar, Boots, McCormick Publicis, ASPIRE sports academy, Qatar, Lloyds Bank, Aviva and Tesa.

• Comfortable working either independently or as part of a team, being a knowledgeable, keen and positive participant in product development: Including product development in association with some renowned established agencies such as Pentagram.

• Commensurate with my history, I have valuable experience in commissioning and art directing photography and digitally retouching/illustrating. I am an accomplished digital visualiser.

• Designing games and puzzles is an additional speciality too.

• Experienced in working internationally. I was Art Director at IMP working in London, Germany and the USA, developing product for global markets.
